Dehydrating squash

anyone have any ways to dehydrate squash and other garden vegetables

i've used a dehydrator for years, use it for drying brass too LOL any quality machine will do the job, i'm using a Nesco right now and have been for several years. i'd like to get one of those freeze dryers, but you're talking Nighthawk Custom price, i'd rather have the Nighthawk

So just dehydrate like mushrooms by slicing into medallions and then rehydrate in water when you want to cook them ?

or just throw them in what ever you're cooking and let them absorb those flavors too

You can also put spices and seasoning to you taste on the chips before you dehydrate them but I kinda just prefer them with salt and pepper.

I just use the dehydrator.
When we make stews or soups we just throw them in the pot and let them cook with spices and beef.
