Of course, it may be that because I've never had a blemish on my record, I get a pass.

Several years ago I had to stay on the phone for 3 hours with ATF to purchase an AR (during one of the runs).
Store was making the customer stay on the phone thru the "on hold" period so the staff would do other work.

I asked the guy at the store if he could just transfer it to me on my FFL.
He had no clue as to what I was talking about, neither, did it appear did his supervisor.

Of course, I guess, I could have just given him my concealed carry permit and been out the door in 7 minutes.

I've never been delayed, denied, or whatever in purchasing a firearm. (Oh, wait...there was that .38 Special that I bought in California back in the '60's, and I had to wait 3 days because of CA laws.)
