Yup I miss the days of $23 a pay check premiums and free office visits with $1 generic and $2 name brand prescriptions. That was only 20 years ago. Now it seems nothing is less than $275 for any visit. I was okay with $80-100 but man its insane now. Flu last year set me back $500 after visit, tests and tamiflu.

Checkout GoodRX.com. We found that we could save money with them. The wife was without insurance for 3 years after we retired and GoodRX helped out a lot. You can go to their website and type int he name of a drug and (I think) your zip code. They will give you examples of what some pharmacies in that zip code are charging for that drug with you using GoodRX's coupon, which can be printed out, or if you use your phone, there is some way to have the coupon on your phone.

How can you raise what they ain't paying?

Oh, they are paying taxes. Sales tax, etc, and if you want to go along with creepy uncle Joe I think it was during the debate, he or one of the others said they pay SS tax as well that is helping the SS to stay afloat because the republicans and dimocrats both have robbed that system in the past which was not mentioned.

I believe it was buttitchitch that said they also pay property taxes.

I predict after the next round of debates, if they suck like these last two, someone new that's completely off the radar will come swooping in for the dems. Michelle, Chelsea, etc. Once more of Kamala's prosecutor history becomes well known, she won't be as popular. She's as anti legal pot as they come.
She will become known as "re-educated" in the jargon of the progressives and socialists.
Back in the day that meant the gulags in Siberia, but now it's just a U.S. socialist progressive term for changing their ideology to pander to the masses.

They didn't exactly say that. I'm paraphrasing here, but I think the comment from the gay mayor or was it the take all your guns congressman Swalwell that said they pay property tax in a roundabout sort of way? Man, wish I still had that quote in mind.
In their defense, they kinda do. They rent from owners that have to pay property tax, so I guess that's where the connection came from?
Dunno, just speculating and pontificating here.
