Rule 2 of flying, carry noise canceling headphones, or ar least some earplugs. 3 year olds cry and throw tantrums. This is exactly why we didn’t fly with my daughter until she was 4.

I also switched jobs, I don’t ever want platinum status ever again.

I don’t know how I would have reacted to that situation where I had paid to have a peaceful flight. I would demand a full refund or at least a voucher.
Passengers on public transportation deserve the right to get to their destination without distractions.
If the brat were a little older as an adult, they would be taken down by crew and passengers and duct taped to their seat. The aircraft would be diverted to the nearest airport with the disrupter arrested upon landing.
You can’t tape a kid to a seat, but the poor parenting in evidence should have resulted in a landing with the parent and child removed.
Where are you going to divert the plane over the Atlantic Ocean? Reykjavík?

“A source for the DailyMail suggested that the child may suffer from a disability which may have contributed to his in-flight behavior”
Let’s maybe hold off on drugging or assaulting a possibly disabled three year old, and perhaps consider beating the **** out of the parent instead??

In the 90s i had an instance where there was a loud kid on the plane. The pilot or co pilot came back and told the parent and kid he was going to land at the nearest airport and they could get off the plane or get in a cage for the rest of the trip. They were dropped off in Phoenix.
