Device for converting AR to straight pull bolt action

You may already know of this, but I just ran across it by accident. It's called a Kali Key and it works by removing the bolt carrier group from the AR and replacing it. the device converts the action to an ambidextrous straight pull bolt action. then the AR can be returned to original by reversing the process. You might be interested in checking it out.

I agree. This is a California thing. A work around to keep a rifle and make it legal. Turn it into a manual loader instead of semi auto. They have stupid unconstitutional gun laws made by freedom hating Democrats.

I see this as a valuable option for those who live in commie states that don't allow semi-auto style assault rifles. Stick a barrel on this and whatever other things like no pistol grip or threaded muzzle, then take your semi upper and throw it away. Proper disposal would be to place it in an air tight waterproof tube and bury it a few feet deep in an isolated location so as not to pollute the environment.

I know there’s at least one or more manufacturers in Europe that make a straight pull AR-style firearm do to legal restriction on owning semi-autos.

I actually want to do one of the Solo type ones as a super quiet foldable bolt gun. Would be a sweet truck gun with a can.
