I read on another board that you can send your DE back to Magnum Research (don’t know how much) but they can clean the lead from the port.

They basically said it was ruined and barrel replacement was the only option. I would think since lead has a much lower melting point than steel, that it could be heated and melted out but what do I know? I enjoyed shooting it when I was younger. Now, since I reload, chasing D.E. brass where ever in the county it ends up (if I can even find it), I sold it. I'll stick with shooting my hot 10mm's. It's above .357 mag and approaching low end .41 mag levels.
