I was once told by a friend in Kansas City that anything within 300 yards of the house was 'women's work.'

I guess it worked for him. Wouldn't work around here!

I am a bit amused by this thread,,,
I graduated from Moore High School in 1968.

We knew I would be moving out of the house that fall to attend a trade school,,,
So Mom wanted me to learn how to do all the domestic stuff.

My principal (crotchety old fart whom I hope is rotting in Hades) said no,,,
When my Mom went in to talk to him about it he said,,,
"He only wants in because of the girls."

Mom took it to the school board and to everyone's surprise,,,
Got their blessing for me to enroll in Home Economics.

The funny part was that the school itself never publicized the decision,,,
So for the first semester of my senior year (67-68),,,
I was the only guy taking Home Economics.

Aarond

P.S. I got an "A".

I think your principle is in Big Mac for dating teenage school girls. And Big Mac has nothing to do with McDonald's.
