I have ran diesel oil many times in gas engines.
In fact the T 6 Rotella is full synthetic and got better MPG than Mobil 1 synthetic in my Corolla.
The Mobil was 5-30 and the T6 was 5-40.
I have tried Dello 400 and T5 and other diesel oils but T6 was always better.

Ran it in my SBC 350's for awhile to protect the flat tappet cams and lifters.
VR1 racing now.

VR1 in all of my classic stuff, Valvoline full syn in everything else. Got to have that zinc in my older stuff. I've been reading that even Rotella no longer has the zinc it used to have.
