Late evening to early morning.When is their optimal "out" time? I've got one or more tearing the **** out of my place. Late PM, early AM, pre-dawn it doesn't matter. I can't catch the mf'ers.
Or night crawlers/worms which is their favorite food.The difference is probably whether your yard has grubs or not.
They don't root just for fun...
