Gabriella's Italian Grill on 63rd street just down from the Cowboy Hall of Fame is fantastic. If you were to go to Tulsa, Bodeans Seafood is amazing.

The Ranch..last two times went there. ..we just weren't impressed.

Junior's disappointed me the last time.

Sorry..Gabriellas...plain jane food. It gets me that they're related to Pete's Place in Krebs, and Pete's is much better.

Chinese..Grand House and Golden Phoenix both on Classen just North of 23rd. Grand House dim sum...oh yeah!!! Love the fried baby squid, quail eggs,...mmmmm.

Mahogany Prime Steakhouse up on Memorial...is where we go for anniversaries.

Classic, classy steak place, great ambiance (quiet and not bright like you specified).

Steaks are awesome, service is impeccable.

We went to Hensleys in Yukon last year for our anniv and really liked it. Menu is online. Best service I have ever experienced. Almost like we had our own waitress. We will be going back in February.

I second everything that SMS said. Mahogany is great. We had reservations to The Ranch but when we tried to change our time they would do it, Mahogany was happy to get us in even though the were busier than The Ranch.
