This is a similar case that was featured on 60 minutes a while back. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/03/06/60minutes/main4848039.shtml Victim picks suspect out of lineup. Suspect convicted and goes to prison. Years later DNA proves that he is innocent. Victim still believes he is the rapist, even sees his face during nightmares. Not only does the DNA prove the suspect is innocent, it proves another man is the rapist who is already in prison and matches the evidence dna. Victim just about breaks down with guilt. Victim and released suspect become friends. Personally, I'd like to see a review of all rape and murder cases where verdicts where: Suspect has always maintained innocence. Verdict was before dna testing was practical. DNA evidence from the crime is available and viable for testing.
