I guess if it bothers the seller, they should say something so they can sleep at night. I just don't understand why it would.

i personally would say something because ya, i wouldn't want any baggage attached. the same thing comes up in real estate and is the subject of many horror movies.....

both. if a bridge were in a position to be sold, and/or if i were in a position to buy, in both cases my thoughts would likely indeed to go "people have died by jumping off this very bridge".

I wouldn't say nothing about a suicide....but I would tell them about how many injuns it killed at Custer's last stand before Billy the kid got ahold of it and traded it to a marine before he went to storm Normandy.

The only things that truly need disclosed are 1) functionality, 2) cosmetic blemishes, and 3) provenance as long as it can be authenticated.

Everything else is irrelevant to the sale.
