Years ago, I saw a yugo 24-47 mauser for sale that someone basically died on. It was covered in blood pitting and the stock was black from blood. I didn't buy it, was a little too macabre for me. A gun dealer friend of mine was selling it. If anyone remembers Gary Goodenberger.

Dude sold a ton of those K31s back in the day. I wish I'd have bought them all.

The only suicide guns I've seen have been long guns, and it was immediately obvious what had happened--deep pitting for a few inches down from the muzzle (blood is a hell of an oxidizer), but basically clean at the chamber end.

I don't put any particular stock in animism, so I wouldn't just tell it, but I wouldn't lie if asked.
