Do you clean your mags? Whats your process?
I've never had a mag issue that warranted taking them apart until yesterday...slide wouldnt lock back on last round. I took the mag apart and put it back together and its working normal now. Maybe it was dirty and just kinda knocked some stuff loose??
Makes me wonder about disassembling them and running them through the sonic cleaner...

I do. At the very least, I push the follower down and use a Q-Tip to get the crud off under the mag's lips and off the follower itself. Every other trip or so, I take them apart and clean them put with a baby bottle brush and a rag. Except for Glock mags, maybe not so often...maybe every 4th or 5th trip. My .22 mags seem to get the nastiest, the centerfire mags; not as much.

I clean mine about twice a year. I watch some of the guys at the matches. They take them apart and swab them out with a big brush as they unload their gear before the match starts.
