An interesting question…do you actually know what is in Critical Race Theory, or do you know just what has been reported by media (right or left), YouTube videos, or other Internet forums?

The same question could probably be asked about most any current topic.

I don’t know anything about the actual wording of CRT, but I hav3 convinced myself that I’m against it…

It's simply teaching that race is important.....which in itself is racist.
Now what is being taught in schools goes further in the teaching that you should be labeled one way or the other and based on that label you should feel either oppressed and hate the oppressor or if you are the oppressor you should be ashamed and you owe something to those that you've oppressed because of your skin color. Asinine concept at it's finest.

Yep, and that is all white people's fault.

I think I have a decent handle on it. It’s derived from the ideologies of Karl Marx and Antonio Gramsci where by the hegemony needs to be done away with (Overthrown). One way of doing this is by controlling the “robes of society” (teachers, professors, judges, preachers, etc.). Basically the hegemony is white, Christian, able bodied, and heterosexual. Keep this in mind, with CRT, everything and I mean everything is racist.

May I suggest reading "Irresistible Revolution - Marxism's Goal of Conquest & The Unmaking of the American Military" by Matthew Lohmeier. Lohmeier is a former T-38 Instructor Pilot at Vance Air Force Base who rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and earned a command position in the new U.S. Space Command. He was released of his command because of the book, because it calls out the military for what is going on within its ranks right now. I haven't finished it yet but, from what I have read, he is spot on.

And if the racism or white privilege isn't apparent to you, it because of your white privilege. The racism is definitely there, you'll just need someone more knowledgeable in these matters to point it out.

Originally, an academic/mental exercise to look at laws, institutions, etc from the point of view as though racism Is inheirently baked in. I don’t have a problem with that. You could easily apply the same exercise to religion, or insert anything really. It was the result of noticing color blind laws lack of effect after a while.

Now, I have no idea what it means now, some on the right have crazy views so it, from who knows where. Some others want to use it as fact, not a mental exercise. Now, it means many different things to many different people. I have strong issues with not a singular, shared meaning.

Do we know this as the actual material, or is this just what we are being told? There is so much false information about every controversial topic these days. Fox News, Glenn Beck, etc have become as unbelievable as CNN, MSNBC, and their cohorts.

Where do we find the truth?
why don’t you just research it’s academic origins in the mid 70s - early 80s I believe. You can prob find original papers. Doesn’t really matter given the complete lack of a shared meaning/understanding at this point.

Race, Racism and American Law, by Derrick Bell is the book that is supposed to have started it all. I’ve not read it.
