My cragars and centerline and Weld racing and my factory ford wheels never centered tight on the hub.
There was always a little extra clearance.
I have never had any issues with it.
I can't say i drive as fast as some new cars but I have ran those above except the centerlines to a tick over 175 MPH on Oklahoma roads.
Yea 1960's steel Ford wheels.
Ran 167 MPH on a wheel dyno with steel wheels with lugs centering them 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern.
Good year wrangler mud and snow tires :)

Non issue.
Especially under 100 mph

It’s a non-issue if the hub and wheel are designed to be lug centric. If the system is intended to be hub-centric and you install a wheel with a oversized bore then it may not center correctly.
