Sauna=Phoenix in July.... Wet Sauna=Phoenix after a rainstorm in July.... I have done both in the same month while trenching in a water line to help a friend save a couple thousand. When I hurt I would rather soak than just be hot. I can just as easily go sit in my truck parked in the sun with the windows up for a little while. Since I hurt my back and shoulder again I have been spending a couple hours just laying in some hot water to get it to ease up a little bit. To have a hot tub would be the best IMHO, warm the body up but not feel like your going to pass out from pure heat plus it soaks in deep to help with the aches and pains. In the winter time you can still enjoy it and the temp difference can be interesting to say the least. I once years ago went from the hot tub to a frozen creek just to prove to someone it wasn't too cold out to get in and enjoy.
