There were hundreds of birds a couple weeks ago. Just drove by the field I’ll be hunting next week and just saw a handful. I hope we get some more birds down in the next week. I’ll post pics here in this thread IF I harvest anything.
I got a Department of the Interior wing survey packet. I'm headed to Woodward for my 34th annual SPDGUNS dove hunt! Side trips to Arnett to the Longhorn for a burger and then Buffalo to the Buffalo Diner. Yum!
From what I can tell, to get a HIP, you have to log in to “licensing” section and go through the motions of buying a license.
RM is correct, it’s under ‘purchase a license online’ even though you’re not paying for anything. While there, go ahead and get the free crane permit. You can shoot lead at cranes and the last two I got, I was pheasant hunting.
Yeah, I see the Sandhill Crane Permit, but I still don't see the HIP. What am I missing?!?!?!?!
