OK, I misspoke. Sorry it's been since high school that I hunted dove.

Here are my efforts for Monday and Tuesday. You might notice that I was really on some of them...shot their heads clean off!

Plenty of birds out in the panhandle. I’m just a ****** shot! They’re hanging around though. I’ll try again Friday evening.

I have plenty in my front yard, darn kites have moved in and kill at least one a day

Went to Texas panhandle and got in a shootout!!!!! 7 of us went and limited opening morning in about 2 hours. Next morning about an hour. Seen a lot more teal than normal with the standing water.

Anyone got a good recipe for dove breast?

We carried along oranges and potatoes and onions with us with a cast iron skillet and a can of Crisco. (Salt and pepper to taste )

We would limit in the morning, then cook up the dove for lunch and limit again then go home to bacon wrapped dove breast.
