Has anyone else noticed some birds seem to shy away from a MOJO decoy? Could a bird with a brain the size of a peanut get wise? Got these Monday between rain showers .
I have noticed dove flaring away from some mojo decoys, yet some come to them like a magnet to steel.
We always use some non mojo decoys on a tower I built that is 10' high over the mojo's to simulate sitting on a power line.
It seems to work.

Some people educate a lot of dove.
Mojos on a dirt pond bank worked great for us. Never had a dove shy from a motorized one.

Thanks for your comment on my side-by-side. I dig it myself. It is a Beretta Silver Hawk in 20 ga. Bad news for those birds that still want to buddy up with Miss Mojo.
Does that Beretta have a raised rib or a sunken rib? How long are the barrels, if you don't mind me asking.
