Most frozen chicken nowadays does not have the added hormones. A lot of the affordable beef has to much fat. I switched over to ground turkey in place of hamburger in my recipes and it works just fine. Eating healthy does not mean not eating good. You just sub the not so good ingredients with healthier stuff. Try this instead of fried tators. Onion roasted sweet potatoes. Complex carbs instead of simple. Ingredients 1 package dry onion soup mix 3 to 4 sweet potatoes, peeled and diced 1/3 cup olive or vegetable oil Directions 1.Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). 2.In a large bowl, toss the dry onion soup mix, sweet potatoes and vegetable oil until the sweet potatoes are well coated. 3.Arrange the mixture on a large baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven 40 to 50 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are tender.
