Dream truck

So I landed a 73 Ford F250 2WD. My wife’s been on me to get a new truck since my Duramax went down. I’m an old truck kinda guy. I don’t enjoy driving a truck that I don’t want to use. And I hate how difficult it is to work on modern trucks.

I wanted to buy cash, she wanted me in a newer (18-22) 2500HD. Well I win this one. Lol.

Drove it back from Miami with my son Radio off, playing I spy. I wish my dad was lucid to enjoy it with me. He always wanted to rebuild one of these. It runs beautifully. Once my Duramax is up and running I’ll be fixing some of the body problems, lifting it slightly and then driving the ever living snot out of it.

I had a 78. Miss that dude, it was a work horse. Hauled a lot of wood out of the woods with it.

And If I could find a slick one, I’d buy and do a Cummins swap into it!

I love it. I learned from my dad on an 87 bronco. My kid is 5 and starting to learn the difference between tools.

It’ll be my first carb motor. There will be a learning curve but man I love it.
