I thought this was interesting; the bad guy had crashed into another car in the parking lot, then attempted to shoplift inside the store. As he was being escorted out; he was threatening people. Good guy intervenes, and gives him a pretty decent whoopin', after which the dumb bad guy gets arrested.

This wasn’t a situation where you’d have drawn your concealed carry firearm. In Washington state you’d have joined the shoplifter in the back of the squad car if you did that.

No I get that but just think drunk guy or guy on drugs hitting park cars and then going into the store. Lots of crazies out there and you never know.

Or shorter and badder. Reminds me of when I watched a guy who was 5'8" tall square off with a 6'4" guy. I thought the 5 8 guy was about to get beat down. Then to our surprise the 5'8" guy did a round house to the guys face. It knocked him back and he reevaluated and decided he didn't want to fight after all.

I had a great friend in high school (who unfortunately passed when he was 21) that was 5’8” and a little “stocky”. One night we went to a party and when we were entering, three guys stepped out and told us we were not welcome. All of them were 6’ and up and pretty well built. We proceeded to ignore when one of them pulled a knife. I was ready to leave, when my buddy tells the guy to put the knife away and move aside. The guys laughed and proceeded to ask him what he was going to do about it. He said nothing and 3 seconds later the guy with the knife was on the ground semi unconscious and one of the others was next to him. The third quickly ran off. (What these guys were not aware of is my buddy was a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Doe). We ended up leaving the party anyway and my buddy took the dudes knife as a “fee”
I miss my old friend.
