I really dislike the muzzle blast of a muzzle brake. I know a longer barrel is more pleasant to shoot from that perspective.

Faster burning powders can sometimes help as well.

What can you do to reduce the muzzle blast short of buying a suppressor and going through all that paperwork?

I was wondering if the non-ported version of the Browning Boss helps any. Anyone been around one of those?

Crown shape?

Thanks for your input.

On a short barreled rifle or standard length rifle (Greater then 16")? On a SBR you can try different flash hider and muzzle brakes but in my experience the rifle is more tame without anything attached. Other then that you are bretty much SOL. Short generally = Loud
