Early Colt SP1 Questions

helping a family sell some guns after the brother passed away. one of them is a an sp1 from 1965. 4 digit serial number. he had mounted another colt upper on it i guess to preserve the original upper. my question is, the upper he was using had a 'C' market bolt carrier but he one in the original was not 'c' marked but had what i believe to be the correct chrome bolt in it. if there are any guru's on early colts,please chime in.
