A mile or two west of Clinton on I-40 - Jiggs Smokehouse. Old rickety building that should've toppled over 20 years ago. Small menu, but sandwiches from heaven!!

This looks like my kind of place. Reminds me of a place the I used to go to that had a dirt floor and must have been a hundred years old. Delicious.

Man. I forgot about that place. Have eaten there a few times and always liked it. My kinda atmosphere, nice staff, good food and a fairly well equipped bar. (I sometimes like sipping a whiskey after dinner)

The Plantation would be my suggestion!!

Ended up eating in Medicine Park at Old Plantation Inn, great food and MP is a really cool looking place, first time there today...then made the drive through the Wichita Mts/Refuge, lots of nice scenery and animals
