Got a violin case off ebay for $5 and repurposed it. Hope you like it.
Where'd you get that grip?
That looks great! Good job.
That is a Speedfeed "Birdshead" Grip. I used to have one on my 870 AOW. Makes the gun far more comfortable to shoot vs the regular pistol grip. Midway USA has them: http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=221333
I've heard that & I love the look of them but I have a 500 & haven't been able to find one. I know they made them but I can't find one for sale.
I won't be pleased until I find one so I may need to swap my 500 for an 870 or better yet I'd like to find someone that can make me wood grips of the same design.
BTW - the case looks great. I just got distracted when I saw those grips.
My old Witness Protection 870 had a wood grip exactly like this. I sold it long ago. I know several folks just buy an old 870 wood stock and cut and sand it down to make one.
