Not really. The oil filter is a replaceable wipe component of the suppressor. The regular suppressor is not. May seem like splitting hairs, but it's really not. It's good the way it is.
Wouldnt that adapter blow hot gasses back in your face since it doesn't cover the outside holes?

Well you can make one of these for $10. So stay legal and pay the $200, you still cant buy a suppressor that cheap. Any while they clearly dont work as well as a sliencerco, etc, they do knock the sound down and coupled with subsonic ammo you could quite yourself down a bunch.

Once you use a filter as a suppressor, and you take it off to use another, do you have to destroy the first one used before you screw another one on? Or is it "destroyed" enough when you use it? Not really up to date on the whole wipe style can rules.

Technically you can only have one set of wipes at a time. Having extra oil filters around may not even be technically legal. Is the ATF gonna haul you to the federal pen? Probably not.
