John Voight is a big name conservative.
Kirk Cameron is not only conservative, he's an evangelical Christian.
As you said, there are more. But their careers typically stall once the hollyweird crowd discovers their politics aren't far left.

James Wood was very vocal about O'Bummer's failings. Wood also acknowledged that whatever career in acting he might have had left, was now over because he criticized the Great Disappointment.

i just personally remember him for voicing an old cop and lots of other characters in animaniacs, eventually the spin off playing cosgrove full time on Freakazoid! and a slew of other voices for WB cartoons.

he even voiced Granny Goodness in Superman and Justice League.....actually a streaming site i like to watch was showing a movie tonight and he voiced Granny Goodness in that one. frightening.

i dunno, i work with people in my industry who i don't align with politically. we make good work. i appreciate other people's work, no matter their personal life. art, work can be separate; i don't support cancel culture.

i read a lot of those Jack Kirby comics, and those characters all hold a nostalgic place for me. if you don't know anything about Jack Kirby, now there was a based old dude. but i digress; i'll remember asner for the work he did that i'll never forget.

i dunno man, ya'll call me crazy, dang lol
