Yeehaw. Hope they drop this "man".
You'd like to see him killed instead of justice being served according to the law?

Not to dig too deep in to "devil's advocate" but what if the "law" says that justice is community service? Or a fine? Or nothing at all? A slap on the wrist...
Then the laws should be updated. A civil society does not pick and choose which laws to follow. Should the law say community service and he was executed that is still murder.

Our history in the US has countless examples of laws being strengthened or enacted after something happened and society didn't think the punishment was adequate. We also have a standard that we can't go back and punish people under newly enacted laws for actions in the past.

You have a lot more remorse for violent offenders, and those who take advantage of women, children, or other weaker (than themselves) targets. You also have a lot more faith in our very fine liberal lawmakers who would love to see this "man" free because he "got his heart broken".
