Signs are going up in grocery stores in areas of the country of an egg shortage because of avian flu. Combine that with a shortage of feed and things could get bad.

If you have chickens you might want to learn how to water glass or some other form of preserving eggs.

Walmart had 18 packs of eggs priced for $2.33 yesterday up my way.

They wrung up for $2.48!

I flashed my pic of the posted price at the customer help desk and made them give me my 30 cents back! (Bought 2 cartons)

Usually have my own, but with age my gurls are slippin in their duties!

Time for some fresh peeps!!!

Plenty of folks out my way with overproducing chickens.
Plenty of eggs being sold or given away.
Been eating fresh from the chicken eggs for the last 8 months and I don't think I want to go back to store bought.
I wish I could have a few laying hens but in Edmond you have to go to chicken school to get a permit first.
