My taste and smell are still wonky since August 5th 2021.
Much food taste like the smell of Dawn dish detergent in hot water.
All smoke is like the yucky smell of hot clutch to some degree.
Bananas taste like burnt bacon
Blueberries, strawberries, peaches, kiwis all are like Dawn soap
Vanilla is ok 1st sip, same with chocolate, then zero flavor.
Coffee is good 1st sip then just hot water
Milo's Lemonade is the sustinance of life for me. I run through 3 gallons a week.
Arm & Hammer toothpaste and my medicated mouthwash are vile tasting foam
Crown Royal Salt Caramel or Vanilla flavored are amazing good tasting compared to anything else. Probably my saving grace as the alcohol helps cut through covid gack in my throat and helps my post covid arthritis flare up feel a little more tolerable.

The only lingering thing I have noticed since we had COVID in October 2021 is that anything septic (portapotty, farts, etc.) smells like grass or a hoppy beer to me. My spicy gauge is way off too I guess but that only impacts the people I cook for because I LOVE miserably spicy food. I just can't tell if I have dialed it down enough for the rest of the family to be able to eat it anymore.

I feel like my metabolism fell through the floor into the basement, but between completely dropping nicotine 2 weeks before getting COVID and falling out my workout routine until a couple of months ago, I cannot know what killed my energy level.

I can sit in one spot and cough my ass off. If I move forward a foot, I quit coughing but cannot sit comfortably. I am on 6 of 25 breathing treatments. Albuterol.
