how long? don't remember much about the abduction but the aliens left scars on the mastoid bone

Is there a benefit for using electronic when teaching a kid to shoot? My 8 y.o. son shot for the 1st time at our last eat-n-shoot and I ended up doing foam plugs plus regular muffs, since the noise was what intimidated him most.

Not imo. If he's liking the plugs and muffs then stick with them. I've yet to find a set of electronic muffs that fit well when I shoulder a shotgun or rifle. Pistol is fine, long gun is still ear plugs for me.
