Yep, specifically the areas around Estes Park, CO. They are everywhere out there. There's a golf course there that often has players having to wait for herds to cross the fairway before they can play through!

I was up between Walden and Steamboat Springs. Beautiful country, the best trout fishing I have ever had. There's tons of public and BLM land around there where i saw the elk, which makes it a good area for a DIY elk hunt..
