Something to think about, privacy. Most large email providers, such as Gmail and Yahoo, do not respect the privacy of your inbox. For example,

Gmail was caught giving third parties full access to user emails and also tracking all of your purchases.
Advertisers have been allowed to scan Yahoo and AOL accounts to “identify and segment potential customers by picking up on contextual buying signals, and past purchases.”
Yahoo has been caught scanning emails in real-time for US surveillance agencies.
The problem is that actually secure email isn’t free, mostly because they don’t sell your info to government agencies, retailers, and advertisers. I’ve been considering switching from my Gmail to ProtonMail. I have heard it’s good, and it’s a few bucks a month to use it. https://restoreprivacy.com/email/secure/
