I thought this was an interesting article. Perhaps humans split off from apes in the mediterranean, instead of Africa as was originally believed.

Politics and religion always stiffle science. Just look at the DSM. When it came out it listed homosexuality as a disorder. It even used scientific testing to prove all men were NOT created equal. Today those findings have been erased from the current DSM.
I still feel that the link is NOT missing. It walks anoung us this very day. Sadly it shares the same chromosome count as us.
