It may not look like much, but it's frickin' PRECISE and it's REALLY FRICKIN' EXPENSIVE!

This is some of the best digital sound testing "kit" available - capable of measuring peak SPL (A-weighted, B-weighted, C-weighted or linear), sound duration and spectrum analysis. Basically it's the cat's azz for testing cans.

For 2011 we are going to begin building the largest database of suppressor sound testing in existence ANYWHERE!

We're launching a new website this Spring and the site will host all of the db data.

We have more demo cans than anyone - and we'll be testing all of them (from .22, up through .50BMG). And it won't just be a single 10 round string. We're going to do it right - we'll test every can on multiple host under different atmospheric conditions (i.e. cold weather, warm weather, etc.). This way, customers can get an accurate picture of how each can does under specific conditions and ON AVERAGE (not just on one occasion - no "one hit wonders").

There will be no "head-to-head" tesing, just accurate, long term testing for each individual can.

Just one more way that we're trying to "ad value" to our customers and the industry.

    Let the testing begin!! :)

    No "memberships" Dustin!

All of the sound testing results will be "open source".

We want to help customers make the most informed purchase decision possible.

I'm sure you know, but make sure your distances to the microphone are the same in each test. As distance doubles (example:moved from 1" away out to 2" away) the sound is cut by 6db (half) so to produce measurements with consistency the mic will need to be the same distance away in every test.

Can't wait to see what you're doing!
