Looking for recommendations for a shop to put new shocks and struts in my 2014 f150 in or around Tulsa. The factory struts made it almost 200k, they are starting to creak and the front end is getting a little bouncy. Thank you in advance
I might add I could do the work myself but I’d rather have warrantied work and an alignment done afterwards so I’ll just pay someone to do it
FWIW, a 2014 F-150 doesn’t have struts, it has coilover shocks. Replacing them doesn’t require an alignment.
If the creaking is coming from other suspension components (bushings, f’rinstance), fixing them would require an alignment, though.

Ok my truck needs coilovers then. it’s never had an alignment or any suspension work done and it’s a 2014 with 192k. Do you have a suggestion on where to get the work done in Tulsa?
My brother has had work done by Ian’s Auto Service on Ninth Street (Lynn Lane) in BA, and he has been happy with their work. They advertise as a Honda shop, but I think we’ve sent some of our vehicles at work (Ford Transits) over there, too, although we normally send them to Bill Knight Ford or the one that used to be Matthews Ford (Nelson, maybe?) between Elm and Aspen on the frontage road next to the BA.
The only place I can personally recommend is Merle’s Frame and Alignment, but they’re on Shields in south OKC, so not much help there. I’ve gotten good service out of the Discount Tire store there at Kenosha and Lynn Lane in BA, but I’ve only had them do tires, no mechanical work.
I would recommend Tulsa Auto Springs.
