I'm amazed that the ship came to rest upright on the sea floor--to continue to sail on for eternity.
It seems like most of the big warships come to rest keel-down. I'm guessing it's because their weights are biased below the waterline, and because they tend to have flatter undersides than, say, sailing vessels.
