I've got a buddy who I've known for almost 30 years, who is an Alamo Ranger. For years I've been trying to plan a trip to San Antonio to visit him and catch up. But for some reason, something always got in my way. Whether it was work, money, covid, whatever. This seemingly short trek always had to be placed on the back burner for "someday."

Well, my two daughters surprised me with a belated father's day gift - a 4 day/3 night trip! My question is...besides all the obvious, The Alamo, Riverwalk, SeaWorld, Fiesta Texas, etc., what else is there to see and do (clap, clap, clap, clap) deep in the heart of Texas?

There is a park on the northeast side as your coming down I-35. It's called Commanche lookout. It has an old castle on the property. I used to play there as a kid before it was a park.
