Finally got a freeze drier

    Went with the medium model harvest right. Going to clean out my freezer before things start to freezer burn .

    It freeze dried food for long term,10-25 years.Think mountain house type.
    It can be dried raw or cooked. Stored in mylar bags with oxygen absorbers.
    Preserves most of the nutrients.

    This is tenderized steak. You can soak it in water and it will be back to fresh meat.

    Anything you do will change some flavor. Just like canned food doesn't taste exactly like fresh.
