That may take care of any criminal charges and it looks like he may have avoided a felony charge, but I think there is still a possibility of a civil suit.

I see a possibility, but not a certainty of him keeping his job if he avoided the felony charge. If they keep him, he would probably be reassigned to different classification, location or both plus any agency punishment. The FBI is a “prestigious” agency and if they don’t dump him, they”ll stuff him somewhere far away from public view.
