A BRN-601 (not the proto model) or a CMMG Banshee 10mm.
When Brownells was selling the BRN-601s I must have put it in the cart half a dozen times and backed away. Major regret, especially the time it was on sale and $935.

If I still had access to my friends range, one firearm that I would really like to have is a reliable AND affordable 12ga lever action. From what I've been able to find, those 2 requirements can't seem to be met in one firearm.

I wish Savage would bring back the Model 99 lever action. I want to find one chambered in 243 for my dad, I’ll probably never be able afford one of the vintage ones.

I’m loving the banshee, a 10mm is tempting.

1903 Springfield in modern steels. I've got a 1920's 03 sporterized, and an 03A3 National Ordinance receiver with a 1944 barrel, and a pile of parts, but I really want one NIB in modern steel with the military stock.

I'm planning on making the front sight for the NO in my home machine shop. If I live long enough to become a decent machinist, I might go for the rest of it, too. Need more practice!

I'd be good with a modern M1 Garand, too. 😊

For me, it would be a Jungle Carbine or Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle in 7.62 X 39.

An Australian firm (now TU) made the JC and I was seriously interested.
