Firearms Appraisal OKC

The few threads on this are rather old at this point and I need to get a firearm appraised for insurance purposes. Anything over 5 years old and out of production has to have an appraisal. It's just a Bushmaster Carbon 15 and it was a gift several years ago, so no receipt. Anyone know where I can go to have a "credentialled appraiser" do an appraisal? Thanks.

I wonder if the folks at Sooner State Pawn are 'credentialed appraisers'? They certainly need to know the value of firearms since they deal in so many......

They didn't say, so I'm assuming there must be some sort of industry credential I'm not familiar with.

Found this as a last resort, it's an online "certified appraiser", but it's $75 per firearm.

Be very wary of the online appraisers, I have had estate clients that came to us after the fact and had been screwed by an "Online firearm appraiser", pay first then product never delivered, wrong serial number on the appraisal letter with no way of getting it changed etc...
