It is mounted on the stern of the boat.
Yeah what chuter said is good advice. The transducer will need a clean flow of water, as free from turbulence as possible to give correct returns at higher speeds. It might need to be adjusted left/right if just going deeper doesn't work.

The one I had issues with was thru-hull, so that wasn't an option. LOL

Try to put boat on water and look to see where the turbulence isn't as bad. I am not real familiar with tritoons and transducer placement. One of mine will not read depth after I get above a certain speed. I can switch transducers and read depth. I bet turbulence or coming out of the water at speed is causing your issue.

Thanks everybody. I will lower the transducer first and see if That works. If not, then I will move it as far away from the motor as possible. Thanks again foe the advice.
