A early morning visit to Haskell Lake produced two nice little Bass.
Caught `em using a Zoom Finesse Worm in Watermelon Red on a Eagle Claw 1/0 with no weight...
I used my go to ultralight, a Pflueger Trion 120 with 6lb Trilene XL on a 4`6" Shakespeare Micro rod...

Lol MrT ponds are fun to fish.

I agree,
The fish can't really escape far from you in a pond, that makes it easier.
This 12 or so acre pond seens to be a nice pond, not alot of mossy trash to have to mess with.
I'm just surprised I caught catfish with a little spinner lure.

Fishing in ponds, catfish love brown marabou jigs or brown wolly buggers if you are a fly fisherman! I have caught literally hundreds of channel cats off both, fishing in ponds.

Well my boat has been in the shop for a couple of weeks getting some repairs done, so we drove up to Springfield to do some bass fishing on Stockton with my buddy. Couldn't catch any bass because of these pesky guys.

Caught 22 the first day and 32 the second, cleaned 11 & 16 respectively.

I caught 2 and lost two in the vegetation, the price I pay for using ultralights.
The wind picked up and I called it a day.
