Same here - my buddy’s dad had a couple of those we’d borrow to fish in the lake behind their neighborhood. Nice find.

I grew up on those too and have a couple vintage Garcia’s I’ve been planning to send in for a factory refurb.

There was a 100 A that was somewhere produced between 1957 and 1962 but or 25$ it should really have the box and paperwork but it`s still not a bad price if it functions properly and it`s what you`re looking for. I just went for the cheaper 100B.

I've got one of those. Learned on it. Got me a modern one (rubber handles, still Swedish made) for my 16th bday. Still throwing the heavy stuff with it now on the peacock rod.

23 degrees this morning. A boat/trailer was on the ramp in the water and another backing down beside it until it started sliding on ice. The sliding boat/trailer hit the other boat/trailer that was already in the water. Luckily someone had a strap and a pick up was able to drive in the grass to pull the one out.
Fishing was slow without any wind, but can't complain about the quality of fish in about 2.5 hours on the water. The biggest measured 26" long.
