Caught a few drum at Hefner this morning, including my new personal best; 6.14 lb guy. He fought pretty good.
Good eating so I hear.
Not bad at all. Coming out of clean water, they taste like bluegill or perch.
Coat in cornmeal with salt and pepper added, and fry in a cast iron skillet with bacon grease.
I tied on nymph and targeted some Sunnies at Bixhoma this morning, I got in a decent walk and had some fun!

Or bass. I fished a pond 1 day and threw everything in the tackle box, it wasn't until I put on a grasshopper caught a sunny and then pitched it out that I landed a nice bass. We don't like artificial food either lol.
Like they say, there is more than one way to skin a cat, or catch a bass as the case may be.

This morning I fought a 10 mph wind and broke in another Tenkara rod that I`ve had awhile in reserve. Fishing was slow but I caught a couple of little Sunnies on a black Montana Prince Nymph...
