I do. Like others have said way more than I'd like but it is what it is. Humans are always looking for explanations for the unexplainable and I am no exception. Until I was 60 the only meds I took was for my headaches. There was no ignoring those things. Then I had 5 major surgeries in just about as many years -- 2 of them only 6 months apart -- and it seems I crashed and burned. Now I'm on stuff for a tremor, high blood pressure, rheumatoid arthritis and neuropathy. And I still have my stinking headaches though they aren't debilitating ALL the time now -- just in the mornings mostly. Wish I could sleep like a bat -- that would solve ALL my problems. So ... I blame all my troubles on that streak of surgeries when the truth of the matter is all those conditions but one (the neuropathy) run in my family so it was probably just a matter of time anyway. I'm not a fan of being "dependent" on meds either but taking a pill every night beats having tremors so bad you can't eat with a fork ... Or having a stroke and winding up an invalid ... (I know, hyperbole and all, but I've never been lucky enough for something to kill me outright. Hell no -- I'm the person who will just linger for another 60 years. Lol)
