Finally made it to disk one of the food plots.
Sprayed it two weeks ago, and most everything was dead or dying.
I'll get back in there in a week or so and disk again then plant.
I had a handful of clover seed last year that I threw on the dirt after working it, and unfortunately for me, I found a 4 leaf clover today, the day after the lotto drawing.

Today's rain was heaven sent. The food plots can safely be planted now because we have had rain and the photo period is late enough that we should be cooling down for the Fall. I will plant my BFO's and 4 X 4 mix on my local plots this week.

Again time to freshen your mineral licks for antler development and helping the does develop the fawns. Its not to soon to think about warm season plantings. I have a mix that contains approx. 11 varieties of seeds that will benefit deer and game birds for the Spring planting. We are finalizing the blend now. If anyone is interested send me a pm or post.
